Parents and kids, welcome to IMPACT SPORTS! IMPACT SPORTS is a sports league and ministry for children (grades K-6th) with the goal of providing a fun, safe, and encouraging sports experience. There is something unique about IMPACT SPORTS. Thomas Road’s Sports ministry also has the goal of seeing kids connect to Jesus Christ through lessons they learn in our program.  The child’s experience of being on a team, having a coach mentor, and receiving the encouragement of parents provide a platform for competitive fun and development.

IMPACT Sports Purpose

…for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. — 1 Tim 4:8

Parents and kids, welcome to IMPACT Sports!  Impact Sports is a sports league and ministry for children grades K-6th grade with the goal of providing a fun, safe, and encouraging sports experience for all kids.  But there is something unique about Impact Sports.  Thomas Road’s Impact Sports also has the goal of seeing kids connect to Jesus Christ through the lessons they learn in our sports ministry. The child’s experience of being on a team, having a coach mentor, and receiving the encouragement of parents provides a platform for fun and development. This is when sports truly makes an IMPACT.

League Goals and Values
  • FOR ALL KIDS– Kids in Kindergarten (K5) up to 6th grade are included in all 3 of our seasons.
  • SAFE – All coaches and volunteers are screened and background checked. Games are refereed and structured so that child safety is priority one.
  • EQUAL PLAY!– In Impact Sports, every child plays and is given an equal opportunity in all areas of the sport they participate in.  We believe these are formative years to learn a new sport, teamwork, and self-confidence.  IMPACT Sports desires every child to walk away having fun and growing through their sports experience.
  • FAMILY FRIENDLY!– Brothers and sisters are put on the same team at request to keep things easy for the parents. Also, all of our programs are run at TRBC facilities and fields.
  • CHRIST DRIVEN!– In all that we do, we believe Jesus Christ should be first.  In IMPACT Sports, our coaches desire to see your child grow physically and spiritually.  For that reason, our coaches present devotions, which teach kids to play sports in a Christ-honoring manner.

Coach Information

A COACHES MEETING WILL BE HELD AT LCA/TRBC. THE DATE AND TIME WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON AND FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED.  Please email sports@trbc.org if you are interested in being a coach for any sports.

IMPACT Sports is made possible because of the dedicated men and women that invest in our children by being a coach.  All coaches and volunteers are screened and background checked.  Games are refereed and structured so that child safety is priority one.

In all that we do, we believe Jesus Christ should be first.  In IMPACT SPORTS, our coaches desire to see your child grow physically and spiritually.  For that reason, our coaches make an impact in the Next Generation by coaching, mentoring, and sharing Christ with their players.  We have found that our coaches make life-long impacts in the lives of kids through being a coach.  In fact it is because of our coach’s impact, that we call our kids sports ministry, “IMPACT Sports.”

IMPACT Sports is always looking for coaches that are passionate about sports, kids, and Christ!  If you are interested in coaching or volunteering in IMPACT Sports, please contact our IMPACT Sports Director – Joey Sarinana at sports@trbc.org or call 434-592-4293.
