HOPE for Students
HOPE is a relationally driven ministry. HOPE is not a counseling ministry but a safe place for students to talk with trained leaders about the issues they face. We are passionate about seeing Middle and High School students connect in healthy relationships with Christ and fellow believers. In HOPE we talk about: Depression, Anxiety, Abuse, Self Harm, Divorce, Lust, Anorexia & Bulimia, Abandonment, Anger, Self-Confidence, Disappointment, Negativity, etc. Click here for more information.
One of the greatest responsibilities of TRBC Pastoral Care is Benevolence. The Benevolence ministry helps those who are in need of basic, life-sustaining services such as food, water, utilities or perhaps even medical care.
If you are in need or know someone who is, please contact the Thomas Road offices between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm Monday – Thursday to speak with a Benevolence Pastor. We will conduct a brief interview and discuss your unique situation to determine how Thomas Road can best help to meet your needs. It usually takes a minimum of twenty-four hours to process each request for financial help so be sure not to wait until the last minute.
Of course, our goal in helping with basic needs is to reach people with the Gospel of Christ. A loving, concerned pastor will always use benevolence as a God-given opportunity to share the Love of Christ with hurting, needy people. Many have come to know Him through this ministry.
If you have any questions, please call (434) 239-9281.
