Kid Baptism
We offer Splash baptism classes for kids in grades 1st – 5th so that they can explore what it means to be saved and to confidently follow Jesus in baptism. Click below to contact us.
Student Baptism
If you are a middle school or high school student, we host a baptism service at least twice every semester. If you are interested in getting baptized, click below to contact us so that we can help prepare you to take this important step.
Young Adult Baptism
If you are a college student or young professional, we have a time of baptism at the last TRYA Night of every semester.
Why should someone be baptized?
- To follow the example set by Jesus.
“In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.” (Mark 1:9)
- Because Jesus said that all of His disciples should be baptized.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you…” (Matthew 28:19-20)
- Baptism demonstrates that a person has truly believed the gospel.
“…many of the Corinthians when they heard were believing and being baptized.” (Acts 18:8)
When should someone be baptized?
- In the Bible, people are baptized at the first available opportunity after they have repented of their sin and placed their faith in Christ.
“So those who recieved his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.” (Acts 2:41)
- Baptism, which takes place before a person has placed their faith in Christ is not true baptism according to the Bible.
