Coffee For A Cause
Stop by Lion & Lamb Cafe for a free cup of coffee and if you’d like to help, make a donation to this month’s cause – Salvation Army’s #Help5000Lynchburg. The Salvation Army of Greater Lynchburg has remained open during the quarantine and continues to provide shelter, community feeding and assistance with utilities and rent for those in need in the Greater Lynchburg community. They have served hundreds during the pandemic and anticipate those numbers will only increase as COVID continues to impact our community. Major Prieto shared, “We want the community to know how appreciative we are for their prayers, support and donations as every amount will be used to help those we serve in Greater Lynchburg.”
The Daily Bread
Volunteers are the lifeline of Lynchburg Daily Bread. Each day, 10-12 volunteers prepare, cook, and serve the meal to the homeless and hungry of our community. Our greatest need of volunteers is on Sundays and Mondays. Please email their Volunteer Coordinator for more details.
