Meet-Ups are a great way to bring people together and create communities of meaningful relationships amongst people with similar interests. Whether it’s hiking, cooking, painting, or something revolving around beloved pets, Meet-Ups are an opportunity for you to invite others, outside your circle of friends, to a fun environment where you can get to know them better.

DISCLAIMER: Meet-Ups are entirely organized and coordinated by the Meet-Up hosts. Although promoted by Thomas Road, they are not coordinated or supervised in any way by Thomas Road Baptist Church.  Any action or activity that is participated in as a part of a Meet-Up, is done so at one’s own personal risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Meet-Ups?

Meet-Ups are events hosted by people at TRBC that bring others together to create meaningful friendships around the things they love. Whether it’s reading, painting, or drinking coffee, anyone can join a Meet-Up centered on something they love doing.

Are Meet-Ups planned or supervised by TRBC?

Meet-Ups are independently hosted by people at TRBC. They are external events planned and supervised by the Meet-Up hosts themselves, and TRBC communicates their events to our church body.

How do Meet-Ups differ from Groups?
Meet-Ups and Groups both have an intentional purpose. Meet-Ups are for building relationships centered around similar interests. These friendships help provide a connection for people in our church and community.
If I enjoy Meet-Ups, why should I join a Life Group?

Meet-Ups help provide a space of connection around similar interests. Life Groups are Biblical communities established to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Life Groups provide a place where discipleship, accountability, and mission happen – a deeper level of commitment.

How will people hear about upcoming Meet-Ups?

Upcoming Meet-Us will be shared on the host’s social media. You can also find out more by visiting or the Connect Wall in the main lobby of TRBC.
