Care Groups

These groups are 13-week, video driven courses that utilize biblical, Christ-centered, church initiated curriculum to help you find healing. You are welcome to begin attending the groups at any point during the 13-week cycle and continue into the next 13-week cycle to pick up the sessions that were missed. FREE childcare is provided for children 10 & under.

Divorce Care

Unless you have been there, it’s hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. DivorceCare groups are led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives; they understand how you are feeling.

Join us Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:15pm in LCA room #235. No cost to attend. Books cost $15 (payment arrangements can be made).

Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K)

Divorce Care for Kids helps children ages 5-12 heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents.

Meets Mondays from 6:15pm to 8:15pm in the LCA Room 120. Cost for enrollment is $15 (payment arrangements can be made).

Grief Share

Offering help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend.

Join us Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:15pm in LCA room #238. No cost to attend. Books cost $15 (payment arrangements can be made).

Single & Parenting

As a single parent, you face unique challenges. You deeply desire to do what’s best for your kids and you worry that you aren’t.

Offering help and hope for single parents, join us Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:15pm in LCA room #237. No cost to attend. Books cost $15 (payment arrangements can be made).

Support & Recovery Groups

Through Freedom Ministries, these groups meet each Monday night from 6pm to 8pm in the PowerSource Room. The first hour is a large group setting that offers a time of prayer and worship followed by a time of teaching on one of the 12 Christ-centered Steps to Healing. The second hour offers small group time, in private rooms, where specific group issues are discussed. There is no charge to attend and no need to pre-register; just show up. Codependency

Defined as a pattern of behavior in which you find yourself dependent on the approval of others for your self-worth and identity.

We have two, co-ed, Boundaries groups that will help you learn to identify the patterns of thinking, acting, and feeling to bring about change in your life.

Sexual Abuse (Women)

Shelter From The Storm is a group for women who are dealing with the issues associated with sexual abuse.

Affects of Infidelity

The Betrayed Heart group is for women who have been hurt by their husband’s betrayal through infidelity or their use of pornography.

Broken Father Relationships

Father Hunger is a group that explores and heals the wounds that have occurred by having an overly critical, distant or abusive father.

Marriage

Twogether Forever is a group for married couples that provides a safe place to share common hurts and struggles associated with walking out the covenant of marriage in a fallen world.

Eating Disorders (Women)

Four out of every ten individuals have either personally experienced an eating disorder or know someone who has.

True Satisfaction is a group for women who are battling anorexia and bulimia.

Satisfied In The Savior is a group for women who struggle with overeating or binge eating. This group meets Thursdays at 3:30pm in the TRBC Counseling Office

Self Harm (Women)

It is estimated that 1% of the US population engages in self-abusive behavior.

Mercy From Self Harm is a group for women struggling to overcome the compulsion to self-harm.

 

Support for Caregivers

The Caring Journey offers support to people who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimers, dementia, and other chronic/long term illnesses. Meets Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:15pm. Cost for enrollment and workbook is $15 (payment arrangements can be made).

Recovery Groups

Chemical Dependency

Approximately one in every 10 Americans, over the age of 12, are addicted to alcohol or drugs. YOU are not alone in this battle.

Stepping Out in Faith is a co-ed, mutual help group that teaches the skills needed to overcome the issues of chemical dependency.

Pornography & Sexual Addiction (Women)

42.7% of Internet users view pornography; between 6%-8% of Americans are addicted to sexual behaviors.

No Stones is a group for women who are battling sexual addiction.

Pornography & Sexual Addiction (Men)

Every Man’s Battle is a group for men who are battling pornography and sexual addiction.

Depression/Anxiety

Feeling down or “blue” every so often is a common, human experience. For those who deal with severe or ongoing feelings of depression and anxiety, we offer Overcoming Heartache; a co-ed, mutual help, recovery group.
