Christmas already?? YES! Well, kind of…

This year, in addition to the boxes you’ll bring home and pack yourselves, we’re hoping to pack 3,000 Operation Christmas Child boxes through our packing parties hosted right here at church. This “Christmas in July” item collection campaign is a great way to get involved, helping us build our inventory as we prepare for a BIG impact this Christmas season. All collected items will be stored and prepped for our packing parties this upcoming Fall/Winter.

But wait, what’s a “packing party”..? We’re glad you asked! These parties are serving opportunities where we’ll take all of the items we’ve collected throughout the year and work together to pack as many OCC boxes as we can—It’s amazing how many boxes can be packed in just a couple hours with great teamwork! We’ll be announcing more details as we get closer to the Christmas season.

Christmas in July collection period begins July 6, through July 27. Please deliver items to the collection area in the TRBC lobby, near the Lion & Lamb Cafe.

• Toothbrushes
• Hairbrushes / WIDE Combs (boys & girls)
• Hair bows or ties (girls)
• Youth Small T-shirts (no writing)
• Youth Small/Medium socks (crew or ankle)
• Boys’ Boxers – Size Small or Size 8
• Girls’ Underwear – Size Small or Size 8
• Small Stuffed Animals (new – e.g., Beanie Babies)
• Coloring Books
• Hot Wheels Cars
• Jump Ropes
• Small Watercolor Paint Sets
