Ascent is the college age ministry of Thomas Road Baptist Church. We exist to share God’s Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ to all. We also help equip believers and provide community for them in the local church so that they may grow spiritually to glorify God in all they do. We meet on Liberty University’s campus in the LaHaye event space right beside the gym and across from the LaHaye Ice Center
on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am.

Life Groups
At Ascent we believe the Scriptures show us that we are not meant to live and grow in Christ alone. In light of this, we have formed Life Groups that meet at different times and locations throughout the week in order to connect us to one another as we connect to God. Volunteer
At Ascent we value serving others as an outpouring of the work that God is doing in us. We also believe in following God’s command to use our gifts to help the local church to be healthy. At Ascent there are several areas of serving that you can be involved in here or through the other ministries of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
The Ascent Serve Team is a group of volunteers that help to get the Layhaye Event Space set up and taken down Sunday mornings before and after our service as well as welcoming and praying for the students that come each week. If you would like to serve here please contacts below.
