Knowing the Bible and hide in God’s Word in our hearts are foundational to the Awana program. Kids are also encouraged to share their faith – their God story – with others and invite them to church. This program combines a large group teaching time, a small group section time, and a game time with the goal of growing kids in their walk with Jesus!
Check-in & Attendance
Kids Check-in begins at 6:00pm in the Lower Main Street Lobby.
Once a child is checked in, the parent or guardian will receive a pickup tag with a number that corresponds with the child who they have checked in. This pick-up tag will need to be presented when picking up the child at the end of the program.
Family Dinner is served from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Main Lobby of the church.
$3 per person, or $8 per family (immediate family)
How do I check my child in?
Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to worship service time. Don’t worry it’s easy and there will always be someone ready to help you. When you arrive, head to the kids check in area in the lobby. Here our host team will gather some information and greet you and your family. Parents will receive a set of printed stickers for you to keep and your child to wear with a matching code. Then, you’ll be directed to a group room, where your child will be welcomed, and you can meet their leader. At pickup, parents will return to your child’s group room and once we’ve made the match to your child’s identification sticker, you can check out your child and see what your child learned! In the event your child needs you at any time, we will contact you at the number provided at check-in.
Our Lesson Programs
Puggles (age’s 2 ½ to 3) teaches simple lessons through a variety of activities. These lessons present the basic biblical truths that we are a unique creation of God and that He loves us very much.
Cubbies (ages 3-4) teaches simple biblical truth through an age-appropriate scripture memory program. The lessons help these little ones develop respect for God, his son, and his word. All clubbers must be three years old by September 30.
Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade) is a Scripture memory club that emphasizes basic truths about God, Salvation, and the Bible. It is designed to take clubbers a step deeper into God’s Word.
T & T
Truth & Training (3rd – 5th Grade) engages kids and answers their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is achieved through a Biblically-based curriculum that focuses on living out one’s faith through a life of grace.
We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for children who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior. We would like to invite you and your child to SPLASH, a class designed to help kids explore what it means to be saved, and confidently follow Jesus in baptism.
SPLASH is held several times a year from 5-6 pm in the Route 45 room, and is for 1st-5th grade students and their parents.
