Parents and kids, welcome to IMPACT SPORTS, a sports league and ministry for children ages Kindergarten through Ninth Grade. Our mission at Thomas Road is to change our world by developing Christ followers who love God and love people. We seek to do this at Impact Sports by pointing every player, coach and family back to Jesus — on the field, in the huddle, and after the final whistle.
Impact is a Christ-centered sports league that provides a fun, safe and encouraging sports experience for all kids. Through the activity of sports, we seek to connect kids to Jesus Christ and help them see the IMPACT their faith can have in all aspects of life as they follow Jesus each day.
1 Timothy 4:8 – “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”
Values of Impact Sports
Rooted in Thomas Road's mission to change our world by developing Christ followers who love God and love people.
Commitment to Scripture
Commitment to Scripture All of our teams have devotions and time in God's Word before every single game. We want to help kids understand that growing as a Christ follower far exceeds anything else that happens on the sports fields.
Culture of Prayer
Every practice and game starts and ends in prayer. We want kids to see and experience what it’s like talking to God through prayer and to learn, and to learn that talking to God is as much a part of the game as running the plays.
Lifestyle of Worship
We want kids to learn that worship isn't confined to a song on Sunday morning — it's how you play, how you treat your teammates, and how you respond to challenges. Our coaches encourage kids to honor God with their attitude and effort in every practice and game.
Heart for Serving
We teach kids that being a good teammate means using their gifts — whether that's their speed, their leadership, or their encouragement — to build up the people around them. Kids can learn to honor God as they serve others as a part of the team.
Connection to Community
A team is a small group with jerseys. Kids build real friendships with teammates and coaches who encourage them, celebrate with them, and walk alongside their families — not just for a season, but as part of the TRBC family long-term.
Passion for Sharing
The Gospel is at the heart of everything we do in Impact Sports. Every season, our coaches get the chance to share the Gospel with their team and we make sure kids know how they can each have a personal relationship with Jesus.
