About the Event

What is Episode WKND?

Episode is a two-day student event hosted at Thomas Road Students that brings together student ministries from across our community. Students from the same schools, teams, and neighborhoods all coming together for a weekend.
It’s a catalytic weekend designed to help students see Jesus clearly, understand the gospel personally, and live it out boldly in their schools, homes, and communities.

Every year, hundreds of students from churches around the Lynchburg area gather for worship, teaching, and small group experiences that point to one central truth – Jesus changes everything.

Schedule will vary by church group.

What to Expect

This year’s theme, The Great Exchange, focuses on the most powerful truth of the gospel: that Jesus took our sin and gave us His righteousness.
Through Scripture, worship, and group conversations, students will grasp what it really means to trade death for life, guilt for grace, and striving for surrender.

We’ll explore how this exchange changes not just our eternity but how we live today.

Dynamic Worship Music

Led by The Liberty Worship Collective, students will experience powerful times of worship that lift up the name of Jesus.

Biblical Teaching

This year’s communicator, Trip Lee, will challenge and encourage students with a clear and compelling presentation of the gospel and what it means to live in light of it.

Group Connection

Church groups will engage in intentional small group discussions designed to deepen relationships and personal application. These groups are done within the context of your church group, not mixed with other leaders and students from other groups.

Saturday Experiences

Each church will plan a Saturday component for their group. Whether that’s a service project, a fun group outing, or intentional time to rest and connect, churches have the freedom to plan a time that is unique to their group DNA

Registration/Cost

$50 per student
Includes all main sessions, materials, and resources for the weekend.
Each church will coordinate housing, transportation, meals, and Saturday activities for their group.
