Freedom Ministries

A Safe Place to Pursue Healing & Hope

Are you struggling with feelings of shame, isolation, or the weight of past hurts? You’re not alone. We understand what it’s like to carry the burden of addiction, betrayal, heartache, or trauma. We’re here to help you find the support, healing, and community you need to step into the person God created you to be.

What is Freedom Ministries?

Freedom Ministries is a weekly gathering of support and recovery groups at Thomas Road. We currently meet on Mondays from 6–8 PM.

  • The first hour includes a large group gathering with a time of prayer, worship, and teaching.
  • The second hour consists of small group sessions held in private rooms, where specific group topics are discussed.

There is no cost to attend and no need to pre-register—just show up! We do ask that every group member purchase their own book for discussions (these are available upon arrival). Childcare is available for children ages 10 and under at no charge.

For more information or any questions, call 434-582-2825.

Getting Started

Join us for our next meeting this Monday, from 6–8 PM, at Thomas Road Baptist Church!

We meet every Monday in the Student Worship Center. Begin healing from past trauma, rebuilding after betrayal, managing anxiety and depression, or overcoming addiction; we are here to offer love, support, truth, and understanding throughout your journey.

Our Groups
