We have a variety of events that happen through the year. Click below to see what is happening over the next few months. We look forward to getting to know more about you and how God is working in your life.

Our ministry exists to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship and companionship within our community. As we walk through life together, we strive to fulfill several objectives:

  • Winning souls to Christ.
  • Discipling our brothers and sisters in the Word of God.
  • Assisting people as they seek God’s purpose for their lives.
  • Finding fulfillment in the life gifted to us by God.
  • Championing the wisdom and experience gained through the journey of life.

Fellowship is an integral part of our mission, so we provide our members ample opportunity to build community and form new friendships. This is accomplished through ministry and service opportunities, weekly fellowship meetings, and exciting trips.

We take advantage of a number of opportunities to serve the community, including:

Thursday Gatherings

Enjoy uplifting music, delicious food, and close-knit community! We meet at 10:00 am in Bruner Hall on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursdays of the month. We have a variety of special guests each week and lunch will be served.

Senior Life Choir
Since the founding of the senior adult ministry by Dr. Norman Hedding back in the 1970’s, there has been a senior adult choir and it continues still today. The choir has had many different members and traveled many, many miles and sung hundreds of songs. Many souls have come to Christ and we rejoice in that! The choir consists of very faithful, dedicated members and they have the privilege of singing for the nursing/retirement homes, senior adult recreation centers, and churches throughout the Lynchburg community and surrounding areas.
Secret Sisters

Fellowship and prayer are the basis for our Secret Sister group. Our “reveal and exchange” luncheon takes place every six months, where we exchange a small gift with the one who was our secret sister and receive the name of a new person to whom we will minister to for the next few months.

We pray daily for our Secret Sister and send a monthly card of encouragement. Our “every other month luncheons” are a wonderful time to stay connected through fellowship and group prayer.

Visitation of Homebound and Senior Care facilities

We are so blessed to have an army of volunteers who faithfully serve in the nursing & retirement homes in our area. Some visit with the residents one-on-one, some visit those who are homebound, while others conduct church services and Bible studies.

There is always room for more volunteers! If you would like to help in this area of ministry, please contact us.
